2. WHAT PERSONAL INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT AND HOLD?
(a) Order processing
We collect personal information from Pickles Auctions in order to process and complete orders for delivery and pick-up in the event you were the successful bidder for our product. For this reason, Pickles Auction supplies us with your personal information, such as your name, address and telephone number.
We are required to verify your identity upon pick-up of the product, which will require the collection of personal information to cross-reference against the personal information supplied by pickles.com.au. We are required by law to retain a copy of your personal information for our records.
(b) Marketing
We collect personal information, including your name, email address and postcode, to provide you with our newsletter and to notify you via email of upcoming auctions and product releases. Personal information may also be collected from our website automatically by cookies. Most web browsers are set by default to accept cookies. However, if you do not wish to receive any cookies, you may set your browser to either prompt you to refuse cookies or automatically refuse cookies.
You have no obligation to provide any information requested by us. However, if you choose to withhold your personal information, we may not be able to provide you with the services or products that depend on the collection of that information.
3. HOW IS YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION USED?
If you no longer wish to be on our mailing list or to receive information about our products or services, you may opt-out by using the unsubscribe facility in our emails or by calling 02 8796 1800.
We may provide personal information about you to our service providers who assist us in providing our products and services. For example, we may disclose your personal information to a third-party courier service to deliver a product to your home. We may otherwise use or disclose your personal information where required or authorised by law, which may include emergency situations and assisting law enforcement agencies.

We currently engage MailChimp to send emails to individuals signed up to our mailing list. We, therefore, disclose personal information included in our mailing list to MailChimp, which is located in the United States of America, who also store the mailing list and emails on a secure server.

If you need to access or correct any personal information we hold about you, please contact us using the ‘Contact Details set out below. Please provide us with as much detail as you can about the particular information you wish to access or correct in order to help us retrieve it. We may charge you an access fee to cover our costs of providing that information to you. We will inform you of the applicable fees before they are incurred.
In certain circumstances, such as where there is a criminal inquiry, we may refuse your request to access or correct your personal information. If that is the case, we will provide you with reasons for that decision unless it is unreasonable to do so.
